Gender History Seminar at The Box – Saturday 24th February

We will be holding our next Gender Variance in History and Culture seminar on Saturday 24th February from 11am-12.30pm at The Box in Plymouth.

The seminar will cover over 5000 years of recorded gender history and diversity, connecting colonialism, racism, cultural identities, the patriarchy, misogyny and legislation and how they have formed transphobia and affected current issues around gender identity. Increase your ability to talk about trans identities and history to be better able to support people in feeling less alone and more connected with a rich cultural heritage.

We will also be holding a Family Pride Day from 1-3pm after the Seminar, allowing LGBT+ families to meet each other in a safe space and make friends and connections.
