We have brand new Family Pride events coming up in July!

Banner Making for Bideford and Barnstaple Prides – Saturday 13th July – 11am

Join us at Bideford Youth Centre to make some placards and banners ready for Barnstaple Diversity Festival and Bideford Pride. We will have arts and crafts materials. Feel free to bring cardboard or fabric that you have lying around!

Rockpooling at Devil’s Point Plymouth – Sunday 21st July – 11am

We will meet by the cafe PL1 3QR and walk down to the rockpools. Please wear appropriate footwear for the day. We will explore the rockpools and hopefully identify various organisms. Feel free to bring a lunch (not provided) if you want a bite on the beach.

Rockpooling and Beach Trip to Portreath Beach – Saturday 27th July – 12pm

We will meet at Portreath beach at 12pm where we will have a set up and can enjoy a family day picnic (please bring your own food/drinks/blankets/towels/beach wear). Don’t forget the sunscreen!

Family Pride Events

Family Pride events are simply about finding each other, having some fun, and boosting parent and child confidence. Parents and carers can have time together. Children and young people can have time together. Or you can just have a cuppa and soak up the atmosphere.

LGBT+ Families

An LGBT+ family may contain one or more parents who identify as LGBT+ and/or one or more children who identify as LGBT+.
