We work in partnership with Bristol City Council to empower lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people to become actively involved in community life. We pride ourselves in challenging homophobia and transphobia in the wider community and help promote understanding of equality and inclusion of LGBT people.
We also campaign, consult and provide information. Each year LGBT Bristol celebrates and supports the major calendar events in the City’s LGBT life such as : LGBT History Month, IDAHO, Pride Bristol, Trans Day of Remembrance and the LGBT Film Festival.
