Rainbow call companions is a telephone befriending service for people aged 75+ who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or otherwise part of the LGBT+ community. You will be matched with a friendly volunteer based on similar interests and availability and receive a call as often as you both choose (usually once a week). Calls last for half an hour or so and you can chat about anything that interests you. What’s great is that the same volunteer phones you every time, so you can get to know each other and share stories and laughter – for as long as you both want.
