Our group is called Another Way and we run a service called Kres, which is Cornish for “peace.” Kres is a monthly event at Truro Cathedral which uses poems, stories, liturgies and ambient music to help us reflect on faith in 2024. We wholeheartedly welcome people of all backgrounds, identities and beliefs.
Kres is a Christian worship service but is intended to be inclusive for people from any faith background (or none), and wanting to be particularly mindful of those who might not feel safe or welcomed in some other church environments, such as LGBT+ communities.
We also run ad-hoc “pilgrimages,” reflective walks to places of spiritual significance in Cornwall. These are promoted through our Instagram page.
