We welcome Holly Anderson as our new CEO

We’re very pleased to share that Holly Anderson has taken on the role of Chief Executive Officer at Intercom this June.
Holly has been part of Intercom for nearly two years as Operations Manager, where she has made a lasting impact during a significant period of change. Throughout her time here, she has brought compassion, thoughtful leadership, and a deep commitment to the people and communities we serve. Her understanding of Intercom is rooted not only in her role, but in the relationships she has built and the care she brings to every aspect of the organisation.
With a strong background in the voluntary sector—particularly in equality, diversity, inclusion, and community-centred practice—Holly leads with both purpose and empathy. She has seen first-hand the difference Intercom makes and carries that insight into her vision for the future.
As we move into this next chapter, Holly is committed to strengthening and nurturing what already makes Intercom special, while continuing to grow and evolve. Her focus will be on deepening accessibility, reaching those who face the greatest barriers to support, and ensuring our services remain shaped by the voices and experiences of the communities they exist for.

We’re excited for what lies ahead and feel confident that, under Holly’s leadership, Intercom will continue to grow with care, integrity, and connection at its heart.

Holly said:
“I’m incredibly proud to become CEO of Intercom Trust at such an important time. Our work has never mattered more, and I’m committed to ensuring we continue to reach and support those who need us most. I’m looking forward to continuing to work alongside our staff, partners and communities to ensure we remain a vital and inclusive service for those who rely on us.”

Simon Hill, Chair of the Board of Trustees, said:
“We are delighted to announce Holly as CEO of The Intercom Trust. Over the past two years, she has shown clear leadership, commitment, and vision, and has the full confidence of both the board and staff. Holly’s appointment also marks an important moment for the organisation as its first female CEO. As CEO, she will lead the Trust with strength and purpose as we look ahead to our 30th anniversary in 2027 and beyond.”
