If you are aged 13 – 25 and identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual trans, non-binary, intersex, asexual, queer, or similar (or if you think you might be), come and try our youth groups.
Here you’ll find a safe and relaxed space to meet other LGBTQ+ people of a similar age, have some fun, learn some stuff, and generally feel heard and understood. We can even refund your train or bus ticket if you can’t afford to make it otherwise.
Our professional youth workers help to keep sessions safe and interesting and we have lots of different sorts of groups.
We currently split the ages of the groups to:
13 – 17 year olds
18 – 25 year olds
Groups are mostly on Tuesday evenings and some Saturdays each month.
We run a variety of sessions depending on what the groups want:
You can just drop in for as long or as little as you want to hang out and get to know other LGBTQ+ young people.
You can book a time for a 1-2-1 with a youth worker.
Film nights
We have occasional quiet sessions and film nights, there are a selection of LGBTQ+ age-appropriate themed films to watch and young people often bring their own recommendations.
Trans / gender identity sessions
For all trans, non-binary, gender fluid young people or those questioning their gender identity.
Issues based sessions
We look, in an age-appropriate way, at issues that face young LGBTQ+ people in Cornwall.
