We are really happy to have Gemma Budge joining the Intercom Trust team for the next 10 months. Here's Gemma to tell us a little more about herself and the work she plans to do whilst here at Intercom.

"Thank you to all the Intercom Trust staff team for a warm welcome. I will be working with Intercom one day a week over the next 10 months as part of the final year of my doctorate, with Plymouth University.

I bring with me to the team five years of experience working within NHS mental health and wellbeing services and a range of skills I have developed through my training to date including therapeutic, consultation and service evaluation skills. I am interested to learn from the team at Intercom and hope that I can use my experience to support their work.

During my time with the Intercom Trust I am going to pilot a group for members of the LGBT+ community experiencing difficulties with their emotional wellbeing, working alongside one of the team. I am also hoping to support Intercom in evaluationg some of their services.

I look forward to working alongside the Intercom team, clients and broader stakeholders."
