Georgina Savill-James

Written by

Georgina became a trustee in October 2018. She is a solicitor working in private practice in Exeter.Prior to this, Georgina worked in the voluntary and statutory sectors giving housing advice. Her prior experience includes working with the legal advice centre at The Terrence Higgins Trust. Georgina lives with her wife and their 2 children and enjoys walking their dogs, and listening to music. As a trustee, Georgina is particularly interested in policy and marketing and fundraising initiatives.

Richard Smith

Richard became a trustee in October 2018. He lives in Exeter and is an IT Project Manager. He has worked in the LGBT+ voluntary sector for both Intercom and it’s umbrella organisation Consortium. Richard and his husband enjoy walking their dog on the beach. His other interests include films, traveling and gastronomy. As a Trustee Richard is particularly interested in IT systems, strategic planning and; employee and volunteer welfare.

Jen Wilcox

Jen joined Intercom in October 2016, after volunteering with Pride and Unison LGBT+.She is based in Exeter, working full time as a performance officer and studying at the Open University. Jen brings performance management, HR, project management, research and analytical skills and experience to the Board.

Suzi McGoldrick

Suzi became a Trustee in October 2018.She lives in Exmouth and works in Plymouth as Head of Development for a theatre, a role which includes Fundraising, Communications and the management of individual and corporate membership schemes.She has worked with charities for many years, both as an employee and as a volunteer. Her interests include theatre, music, podcasts and diligent list-making. As a Trustee Suzi is particularly interested in initiatives relating to Fundraising and Marketing

Adam Killeya

Adam became a trustee in Autumn 2018. He lives in Saltash, Cornwall, and is Head of Sixth Form at Saltash Community School, teaching Politics, Philosophy, Personal Development, Careers, and Geography. He served on Saltash Town Council from 2007 to 2017, and was Town Mayor in 2010-2011. Adam is an uncle to one human and one dog, and his hobbies include traveling, reading, writing and politics. As a trustee Adam is particularly interested in policy, fundraising, and education initiatives.

Chris Musgrave

Chris was born and brought up in the South Wales valleys. He has lived in Exeter for nearly 10 years. Chris identifies as male and gay and currently lives with his partner Carl. Chris’ day job is as a trade union official in the education sector. Chris brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the board in the areas of campaigning, project management, employment law and advocacy. Chris has been a Trustee since October 2016.
