Cornwall Community Advocate

We are recruiting for a full-time confidential LGBT Community Advocate in Cornwall, starting work on 1 June 2010, and based in our Redruth office. (Salary £25,000 plus 5% pension — for full details see the Job Description and Person Specifications). This is an extremely exciting development: it is the first time we have been able to have a full-time local advocate actually based in our Cornwall office.

Please note that it is a genuine and determining occupational requirement of this post that the post-holder is lesbian or gay or bisexual. (Employment Equality (Sexual Orientation) Regulations 2003, section 7.2.)

Helpline Worker and Administrator (Exeter)

We are recruiting for a Helpline Worker and Administrator, to start on 1 June 2010, when the funding for the current post ends and is succeeded by new funding from the Big Lottery Fund. This confidential full-time post involves answering our Helpline, dealing wih calls, and doing the administration for the Helpline and Advocacy service. Plase note that it is a genuine and determining occupational requirement of this post that the post-holder is lesbian or gay or bisexual. (Employment Equality (Sexual Orientation) Regulations 2003, section 7.2.)
