Upcoming Events

Below are a couple of upcoming events for your diaries from the local groups:

CHILLOUT in AUGUST

Get Sunday 17th August in your diary now! Join us on a picnic walk at Maiden Castle just outside Dorchester. Bring your own picnic and drink. If you want to bring along food to share -- that's great. Bring your friends, your kids, your dogs, whatever. And remember to bring good walking shoes and decent sun block (we live in hope). After a stroll round the ramparts of the castle - some of us might want to go and see Max Gate, the house that Thomas Hardy built. That's billed for later in the afternoon - and we'll get a guided tour for which a donation of £2 is suggested.

Meet in Maiden Castle carpark at 12midday. Maiden Castle is 2 miles south of Dorchester. Access off A354, north of bypass. The carpark is at the end of Maiden Castle Rd off the B3147. Admission Free.

Cornwall Pride

Saturday August 23rd in Truro. This will be the first ever Cornwall Pride so head down to Truro and join in the celebrations. It is sure to be a fantastic day, whatever the weather!
For more info check out www.cornwallpride.com

Pink Picnic Glastonbury

Saturday August 30th is the second Pink Picnic in Glastonbury and will be at Abbey Park, Fisher's Hill, Glastonbury. So fill up those hampers, pack the bubbly and head down for an informal afternoon of indulgence in those fine foods you know you want to take.

The picnic will run from 12pm - 4pm.
